Can I Wear Jeans to the Races?
The races is reinventing itself and rather than be full of fanatics it wants to reach out to a wider audience and change the vibe. A vibe that caters for families, and has a more relaxed approach, but with that adopted it’s now harder than ever to tell what to wear. You want to make an entrance but also be as comfortable as you can – after all you are standing around (or trying to stand with all that champagne) and watching horses racing.
Most would say that wearing jeans to a formal event is a massive no no, but it can simply be the way an outfit is put together. Jeans are our old and faithful, they’ll always be on trend and as we use them as our throw away item they can actually be a lifesaver when it comes to an outfit decision.
Remember to always check the dress code to an event but you will be surprised at what is allowed. Even at Cheltenham or The Grand National at Aintree the dress code simply states “Although there is no official dress code, smart is preferable and is often adopted.” – so go for it and stick on your comfiest jeans, why not try ONLY Royal Jeans – SHOP HERE
